Mountain Harvest

World of Coffee San Diego & Brussels

Building a market presence that lasts beyond the trade show

Mountain Harvest already had strong coffee, a clear producer impact model and ambitious plans for international growth. We needed to turn those assets into a sharper commercial strategy around trade shows.

Openflor worked with the Mountain Harvest team around World of Coffee San Diego and Brussels, connecting trade show participation with the bigger picture: who they wanted to sell to, which coffees belonged in which conversations, how to communicate the business clearly, and what needed to happen after the event.

We worked across buyer segmentation, market positioning, coffee presentation, activation strategy, sales messaging and follow-up so that each event supported an ongoing sales process rather than becoming a standalone moment.

Results

The work formed part of Mountain Harvest’s broader strategy to grow long-term relationships with roasters in the US and Europe.

Openflor helped the team define priority buyer segments, sharpen its coffee offering, develop clearer market-facing messaging and plan engagement around two of the industry’s most important international gatherings.

World of Coffee San Diego supported Mountain Harvest’s push to deepen its US presence, while Brussels created another touchpoint with European buyers and partners. Together, the events gave the team opportunities to build recognition across markets while keeping conversations connected to the same long-term objective: recurring commercial relationships, not one-off interest.
